Welcome to the official site for the alexisNet IRC Network
This is the network homesite for alexisNet IRC Network, a small but growing online IRC community.
The purpose of this network is mainly for all general channels and any topic-specific channels,
such as Anime, Music, etc. We're a support-all (nearly) type of network, feel free to check us out.
Up front before pointing you to the policies, our only major type of channel we disallow is warez.
No Warez/XDCC/File Sharing style channels permitted, we're a friendly and legal network and such ;).
Now with all that aside, if you're new to IRC in general, feel free to check out our IRC Intro page.

At last stats fetch (09/05/08, 17:41:46 [GMT-5]), 39 Clients were Online and 24 Channels were indexed.

Been awhile since a news posting has been made, so might as well make one now with the fairly big changes that came lately.
We've been having some issues with splits the past month, while I worked to resolve them as best as I could, they were happening on too many servers than I was happy with randomly splitting.
While there weren't many options to this immediately available, at the moment more servers are up on the network now to definitely give a more 'broad' availability to clients, mainly Canada and Europe as we now have a Canadian server based in Toronto and another ... (Read More)
